The PADI Advanced Open Water Course is designed to enhance the skills learnt in the Open Water Course. You will also learn a variety of new skills such as Underwater Navigation and Naturalist Diving, the thrill of Night Diving and the techniques for safe Deep Diving. Advanced Course includes five Open Water Dives, Scuba Dive Instruction, Equipment Hire, Transfers & Air fills.

Pre-requisites – You must be a certified PADI Open Water Diver or equivalent and must be in a state of reasonable physical condition for diving.

Duration/Times – The course takes two full days and can be completed over the weekend or midweek depending on numbers. Dive students are to arrive at Bayplay at 8.45am on the first day of the course, unless advised otherwise.  Your course will finish at approximately 6pm on the last evening.

What to Bring – 2 Passport Photos, Open Water Certification Card, Log Book, Bathers & Towel, Pen & Writing paper or notepad.

Books – It is PADI requirement to have your own Dive Manual and is good to keep as a reference guide for future use and to make your course easier when doing Knowledge reviews.

Underwater cameras, masks, fins, booties as well as an extensive range of other dive equipment are available for purchase at Bayplay. Please take the time to speak to one of our Instructors about your needs.  Dive and Travel insurance is highly recommended.
