Successful completion of the PADI Open Water Course qualifies you to dive independently to a depth of 18 meters in open water and is an internationally recognised passport to dive throughout the world!
Taking advantage of PADI's great E-learning facility, you are now able to study and complete all knowledge reviews, quizzes and final exam at home on your own time!

Course Details
The 2 day course involves developing in-water skills through 2 pool sessions and 4 open water dives, your first step into the Underwater World!
Confined water dives are conducted in the heated on site Bayplay dive training pool under the direct supervision of your professionally qualified PADI Instructor. This enables skill development and safe diving procedures to become second nature in a controlled environment.
You will complete four open water dives, including one boat dive. This exciting stage of the course provides a perfect opportunity for you, under direct supervision of your dive instructor, to complete skills learnt in the training pool environment and to adapt them to an open water scenario.

Course Times:
The course takes 2 days and runs as follows
- Day 1: Pool Session and 2 Open Water Dives
- Day 2: Pool Session and 2 Open Water Dives
Dive students are to arrive by 8.30am on the first day of the course, unless advised otherwise. Your course will finish at approximately 6pm each evening.

Meet at our shop located at 3755 Pt Nepean Rd, Portsea. Melways ref: Map 156, F2
When you head into the town of Portsea, we are on the left hand side - the last shop on the left.
Pre Requisites:
A Dive Medical needs to be completed prior to commencing the course by a certified Dive Doctor. Our local Dive Doctor is Dr Murrie (Ph 5984 4322) based in Sorrento, or you can get a list of Dive Doctors online on www.spums.org.au

Terms and conditions:
Full payment is required to secure your reservation. If an activity is cancelled due to weather conditions, the activity booking will be rescheduled. Refunds will not be issued. In the instance of a no show, Refunds will not be issued. Reservations confirmed by cheque cannot be guaranteed until the cheque is cleared. Bayplay reserves the right to cancel bookings under extenuating circumstances.
