Booking Terms and Conditions


Accommodation - Booking Terms

  • 50% deposit is required to secure your reservation.
  • Final numbers are to be confirmed four weeks prior with final payment.
  • The facilities at all properties are shared ie pool, tennis court, spa & parking.  
  • There is a minimum two-night stay during weekends from Sept - June
  • There is a 4 night minimum stay during Christmas, Easter and January Peak times. Please check for details.
  • Refunds will not be issued, unless the accommodation is resold. In this case the deposit will be refunded less a 20% administration fee.
  • In the instance of a no show, Refunds will not be issued.
  • Special Offers and Coupons are not redeemable on Public Holidays and Christmas School Holidays.


A security deposit is required to be paid on credit card as a pre-authorisation prior to arrival. Additional security deposit may be imposed at the managers discretion

  • Group Accommodation - Up to $1000 security deposit for groups
  • Apartments & Cottages - $300

Loss of security deposit or part thereof will occur in the following instances:

  • Excessive noise
  • Cleaning/Replacement costs for damage to the property
  • Excessive rubbish or cleaning requirements
  • Drunk and Disorderly behaviour which affects other guests or neighbors


Activity Booking Terms

  • 100% payment is required on bookings for activities.
  • Refunds cannot be issued for boat dives cancelled by guests less than 72 hours in advance.
  • If an activity is cancelled due to weather conditions, the activity booking will be rescheduled. Refunds will not be issued. Dates may be modified prior to 72 hours of the tour.
  • If clients are found to be under the influence of alcohol/drugs prior to an activity tour, the tour will be cancelled with no refund.
  • If a client is late for a tour departure, then the tour would be forfeited unless under extenuating circumstances. In this case the tour date may be rescheduled at the discretion of the manager.

Dive Course Booking Terms
Terms as per the activity booking terms plus the following:

  • If a diver cancels prior to or during the course a reschedule fee of $100 will be required.


Bayplay Gift Voucher Terms

  • The certificate must be redeemed by the due date
  • Gift certificate may not be redeemed for cash
  • The certificate may be redeemed on scheduled tours only
  • Gift certificate may be exchanged for other Bayplay run tours
  • Gift certificates are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase


General Terms
No visitor is to disturb the natural environment or to bring animals onto the property without prior approval by management. Management are empowered to take action as deemed necessary for improper behaviour and have the right to ask any guest to leave.
Please follow a few simple requests:

  • No food or drink in the sleeping areas
  • No open flames or candles
  • No smoking inside properties 
  • No person to be in the pool enclosure with glass, alcohol or cigarettes.
  • Pool hours 8am - 6pm

    Bayplay reserves the right to cancel bookings under extenuating circumstances, and in this instance all deposits where possible will be refunded. Whilst every effort is made to ensure a safe environment, Bayplay holds no responsibility for any damage to your person or personal effects.
