Booking Terms and Conditions


Accommodation/Group Terms

  • Final numbers are to be confirmed four weeks prior with final payment.
  • Sole use of the lodge is for the accommodation only.
  • The pool area is shared with other guests
  • There is a minimum two-night stay during weekends from Oct - May
  • There is a 4 night minimum stay during Christmas, Easter and January Peak times. Please check for details.
  • The lodge pool and meeting room is shared with day guests during activity programs ie dive courses.


A security deposit is required to be paid on credit card as a pre-authorisation prior to arrival.

  • Lodge - Up to 15people : $600 security deposit, or 15 plus people $1000 security deposit
  • Portsea Apartments/Retreat - $300 per apartment or 15 plus people $1000
  • Cottage - $300 per booking

Additional security deposit may be imposed at the owners discretion

Loss of security deposit or part of thereof will occur in the following instances:

  • Excessive day noise or loud noise after 10pm
  • Cleaning/Replacement costs for mess and/or damage to the property
  • Excessive rubbish or cleaning requirements
  • Drunk and Disorderly behaviour which affects other guests or neighbors


General  Accommodation Booking Terms

  • 50% deposit is required to secure your reservation. Cheques are to be made payable to: Bayplay & Beyond and mailed to: PO Box 6, Blairgowrie, VIC 3942. Reservations are confirmed once the cheque is cleared.
  • Refunds will not be issued, unless the accommodation is resold. In this case the deposit will be refunded less a 20% administration fee.
  • In the instance of a no show, Refunds will not be issued.


Activity Booking Terms

  • 100% payment is required on bookings for activities. No refunds, however dates may be modified prior to 48 hours of the tour .
  • Refunds cannot be issued for boat dives cancelled by guests less than 48 hours in advance.
  • If an activity is cancelled due to weather conditions, the activity booking will be rescheduled. Refunds will not be issued.
  • If clients are found to be under the influence of alcohol/drugs prior to an activity tour, the tour will be cancelled with no refund.
  • If a client is late for a tour departure, then the tour would be forfeited unless under extenuating circumstances. In this case the tour date would be rescheduled.


Bayplay Gift Voucher Terms

  • The certificate must be redeemed by the due date
  • Gift certificate may not be redeemed for cash
  • The certificate may be redeemed on scheduled tours any day of the week
  • Gift certificate may be redeemed for other Bayplay run tours
  • Gift certificate are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase


General Terms
No visitor is to disturb the natural environment or to bring animals onto the property without prior approval by management. Management and Lodge staff is empowered to take action as deemed necessary for improper behaviour and have the right to ask any guest to leave.
Please follow a few simple requests:

  • No food or drink in the sleeping areas
  • No open flames or candles
  • No smoking inside, please smoke at campfire area.
  • Quiet from 10.00pm
  • Bedding to remain in the rooms at all times
  • No person to be in the pool enclosure with glass, alcohol or cigarettes.
  • Pool closed after 6pm

Bayplay reserves the right to cancel bookings under extenuating circumstances, and in this instance all deposits where possible will be refunded. Whilst every effort is made to ensure a safe environment, Bayplay holds no responsibility for any damage to your person or personal effects.
